The Short Story:

My primary practice is graphic design, but I am deeply inspired by design greats like Massimo Vignelli, who believed “if you can design one thing, you can design everything.”. I love to explore various design disciplines such as furniture, interiors & fashion, and believe this only enhances my creativity and perspective in developing tactile, enduring visual systems that are the product of research, human craft, and a few happy accidents.

I view graphic design as more than decoration, but as a mechanism for problem-solving, for connection and for creating experiences that people will cherish.

The Long Story:

As can sometimes happen in the process of design, your first idea ends up the winner.

In the project that is my life, my first idea for a career was one in graphic design, however, being a multi-passionate person, I graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Policy & Management with hopes of pursuing a career steeped in impact, innovation and integrity. But, throughout my degree, I was consistently pulled back to graphic design. After some elective courses in it, some classic post-grad soul-searching, some reflecting on what I spend most of my time doing (hint: designing things, looking at design things, or photographing design things), it became clear to me that not only have I always been a designer, through & through, but all the tenets of a fulfilling career I thought only possible with my Bachelor's degree, were, with the right intentions, all actually right there in graphic design; and in some ways, with even more leverage.

With that settled, I look forward to collaborating more with passionate and intentional brands & craftsmen, particularly in the industries of hospitality, health, architecture and design, to create inspiring visuals that showcase genuine businesses, delight viewers, and that stand the test of time.

WHEN I WAS 6, I DREW PLANS FOR THE EXACT ROCKET I ENVISIONED, AND MY WONDERFUL DAD ACTUALLY BUILT IT :)

SOME WOULD SAY IT WAS MY FIRST DESIGN ARTEFACT.
