A design exercise where the brief was to design 6 layouts in total:
• 5 x layouts using 8-pt type only
• 1 x layout that introduces one additional size of type.
• Use the same underlying grid
• Use a Swiss typeface
• Use only one typeface and one weight/font in all cases
Focus was set to achieving strong hierarchy despite only using 8-pt type. Meanwhile, various sizes of white space were introduced to enhance the use of proximity. This ensures the eye is led correctly across each page.
